COVID-19: Economic Recovery in Monaco

Two months after the lockdown, the Monaco Government has lifted the prohibition to open non-essential stores in the Principality imposed on 14 March 2020.

Step by step since the 4th May 2020, various economic sector has restarted their activity. The population may now travel freely in the Principality and enjoy shopping in clothe stores, eating in restaurant or taking a break in a hotel. The Monaco Government has released strict health measures in order to ensure the safety of the professionals and clients during this unprecedent period. The way of shopping and health habits have been reinvented: the wearing of masks for employees and clients is mandatory, social distancing and hand sanitizing are the rules.
