Vincent de Bonnafos of our Firm was a speaker last week at the Law Summer School organised by Deep Law For Tech (DL4T), a Research Project of Nice University on artificial intelligence and deep technologies.
The panel of speakers included leading researchers and professionals in the legal, banking, e-commerce, crypto assets, engineering, mathematics and even science-fiction sectors. Key issues were discussed around the implications of AI on regulation. Vincent discussed technologies, algorithms and applicable laws and regulations involved in connected toys and objects for children. He considered recent regulatory proceedings taken against manufacturers and app designers in Europe, privacy and data flows in IoT frameworks as well as the new draft EU regulation on artificial intelligence systems.
Our Firm regularly assists companies in a wide range of sectors (tech, banking, automotive, construction, luxury, etc.) on the rolling-out of innovative projects, connected objects, mobile applications and AI-based systems.
