Yesterday the Principality trembled with the roaring engines of historic cars competing in the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique organised by the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM). The racing was intense. Famous drivers competed fiercely for a win in one of the 7 races aboard vintage racing cars and F1s dating from the 30s to the 80s.
Part of the challenge for the ACM was to successfully implement a strict health and safety protocol to allow limited attendance to the event, in line with the requirements decided by national and sporting authorities, such as the FIA and the Monaco Government. These requirements have a significant impact on hospitality services as well as on sponsorship engagement with various legal issues in structuring sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
