We assisted as legal counsel to lenders on several financing and refinancing transactions. In particular, we assisted a US based Hedge Fund, as lender to a shipping group as borrower including a Monaco based corporate guarantor for the purchase of a tanker ship. We helped the lender secure its rights under the transaction by drafting tailored Monaco law bank account charges and other type of security including verifying the capacity of the Monaco guarantor to enter into the corporate guarantee and issuing a Monaco legal opinion.
