A new draft bill n°1039 is currently discussed before the Monaco Parliament enabling Monaco limited companies (“sociétés anonymes”) and limited liability companies (“sociétés à responsibilité limitée”) to use a digital recording device on a shared register duly authorised by the Minister of State.
This shared register is part of the digital transition process of the Principality of Monaco and completes the regulatory framework on digital tools and rules. The new draft bill n°1039 offers to the directors (“administrateurs” and « gérants« ) of limited companies to use a digital device in particular for the issuance and transfer of shares in the company or other relevant corporate information or the sharing of information relating to the life and operation of their companies.
